Waste Wise Environmental waste managers understand the importance of family and the value of teamwork, particularly during the holiday season.
When NSW State Manager, Anthony Zammit, mentioned that all eight members of his team would be driving waste trucks from midnight this Wednesday to get their residential and commercial strata collections completed by Christmas and give their drivers a break, we were touched.
And not just by their impressive work commitment, but the fact that management were all willing to jump in and share the load – so to speak – so all staff could spend time with their families and loved ones on Christmas Day.
“We’ll all be driving from midnight so we can take our trucks off the road for Christmas Day and give most of our team 3 ½ days off.
“We have a really great team here at Waste Wise and it’s always exciting to work together as a team. This year it will be even better,” says Anthony.
