Queensland’s finest strata management talent were recently in the spotlight at the 2022 Strata Community Association (QLD) Awards for Excellence held at The Star Gold Coast on March 9.
Winning the coveted Large Strata Community Management Award of the Year for 2022 was one of Queensland’s most well-established and highly recognised companies, Ernst Body Corporate Management, part of the Smarter Communities Group.
Also taking home the winner’s award for her outstanding body corporate management efforts was Ernst’s Strata Community Manager Rising Star, Lisa Breci.
Accepting the business award on behalf of the Ernst team was Smarter Communities CEO Alexander Lang, Queensland State Manager Adam Stankevicius, and Gold Coast Regional Manager Rikki Slaughter.
Missing from the Ernst team’s celebratory table at the awards night was Brisbane Regional Manager Gary Willis, who unfortunately fell victim to the wild weather and was flooded in.
“Winning this award is recognition for the Team’s effort, commitment and dedication for the work we do each day in striving to be the best in the industry,” said Adam Stankevicius.
“Having gone through the selection process, reaching the finals, and ultimately winning in a field of worthy finalists is a huge reward. And it is validation that we’re getting it right.
“I’m extremely proud of everyone in the Ernst Team for their efforts. This award belongs to all of them.”
Champion Community Manager, Lisa Breci, says she is still pinching herself she won the prestigious Rising Star award.
“To be recognised for the work that I do and the contributions I make to the industry is such a great honour. I have the most amazing team supporting me, and the most inspirational leaders I could ever wish for guiding me.
“Ernst is all about teamwork, working together to deliver outstanding service. Without the training, the mentoring and support I receive, I wouldn’t be able to do my job like I do. I am so proud to be part of this incredibly strong team,” Lisa Breci says.
Sister company based on the Gold Coast, Challenge Strata Management, was a proud finalist in the Medium Strata Community Management category and 2021 Strata Community Manager winner, Rikki Slaughter, was this year a finalist in the Senior Strata Community Manager division.
