  • Non-urgent maintenance, including cleaning services, and repair work on residential premises to be paused.

SCA (NSW) has clarified that commercial cleaners, common property cleaning and waste management is permitted. Cleaning services inside apartments and homes is not permitted.

Construction works, repairs and non-essential maintenance is to be deferred.

Emergency works and essential reactive repairs are permitted, however a pause on preventative and non-essential maintenance and remedial/upgrade construction work is in place.

On-site Building and Facilities Managers

Based on current advice, on-site building managers can continue to attend to their roles at buildings. However, SCA (NSW) recommends they work in isolation and limit resident contact.

Restrictions apply to building managers who reside in the Fairfield, Canterbury-Bankstown and Liverpool local government areas (LGAs) who will not be able to attend work sites outside of their LGAs.

Further extension of strata and community lands COVID-19 Regulations
